Scholarship Funds

The RUSTY TROWEL GANG and BAC Local 4 is proud to announce a Scholarship Fund for the children of Local 4 members. 

Aimed to help students have a little extra financial help while pursuing their educational and vocational pathways.

The 2025 Scholarship Fund will begin to accept applications on March 9, 2026 and will run through June 26, 2026.   There will be two (2) $500 scholarships awarded during this cycle and will be chosen by July 31, 2026.  The recipients of the scholarships will be handed their awards at the September Semi-Annual meeting.

BAC US Members: 

The International Union is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 US Bates scholarship program. Every year the program selects three students to receive a stipend of $5,000 per year for up to four years – up to $20,000 total. 

To be considered for the 2026 US Bates scholarship, a student must: 

•          Be a senior in high school and planning to enter college in the fall of 2026

•          Be the child or stepchild of a US member in good standing of a US BAC Local
