What is an apprentice?

An apprentice is an individual who learns a trade through a combination of on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom instruction under the supervision of a journey-level craft person or trade professional in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. The apprentice earns a livable wage with segmented increases as they progress.

We accept applications Monday - Thursday 7 am to 11am by appointment only. We will explain how an apprenticeship works and answer any of your questions during the application process. Please call the office at 626-856-5750 to make an appointment.
